Second XI 205 for 7 - Harefield 156 for 8
Performance of the Day: Richard Lawrence 60, Will Cunliffe 42
Maidenhead and Bray 2nd XI had to settle for 14 points as they fell just short of victory at home to Harefield 3rd XI on Saturday.
Richard Lawrence and John Hewitt made steady progress to 55 before Hewitt was bowled for an unusually slow 13.
Tom Wilding joined Lawrence and the pair added 68 at a good pace before Wilding was the first to fall to youngster McLeod for 40.
Lawrence was finally out for 60 and Will Cunliffe made 42, while Kieran Grey finished on 16 not out as Maidenhead and Bray made 205 for seven wickets in their 52 overs.
McLeod was the pick of the bowlers, claiming five for 38 in 10 overs.
Harefield's reply got off to a disastrous start as both openers fell in the early exchanges, Verwey run out for a duck and Shepherd bowled by Arul Appavoo.
The tall left-armer had McLeod well-caught by newcomer Campbell McAuley and Shabbir Mookhtiar bowled Cokeley for a duck.
When Grey bowled Woodman for seven, Harefield were in danger of being bowled out for less than 50.
Ramniclal (24) and power hitter Saunders (56) brought some respectability to the innings and shame to the hosts' fielders as four catches were dropped in seven balls, but once Grey removed them both Maidenhead and Bray crowded the bat in search of the final three wickets.
McAuley had Moore caught for his first wicket for Maidenhead and Bray, but young Aravind showed remarkable resilience to guide his side over the line with two wickets intact, finishing on 24 not out.
M& B recovered from 60/8 to force a victory by 74 runs in…
