It was a pleasure to welcome our parents, colts, senior players and social members to the club on Friday 3rd July to enjoy our hospitality and assist with the draw for the 100 club. These evenings are intended to engender a club atmosphere in all our members and provide a place where parents can come with their children of all ages to relax in the knowledge that the children are in a safe, friendly environment and I know that this is appreciated from the feedback I have received. I must however apologize to our female members this week since it was reported to me on Friday by the club members and bar staff that the Ladies Toilets in the club-house had been abused by person(s) unknown to the extent that BOTH WC's were blocked by soiled nappies and had to be taken out of service for the evening. This type of behaviour is thankfully rare, and it is a surprise and disappointment to know that one of our guests has acted in such a way and with such blatant disregard for fellow members and our staff who had to rectify the situation. It is unfortunately very unlikely that we will find the culprit, but I would ask our members to assist in keeping our facilities in good working order and to report an misuse as they see it happening in the future in order that we can take appropriate action. Notwithstanding this event, we will continue to invite members to enjoy our Friday evenings at the club and will continue to welcome those who take pride in the club and wish to see it continue into the future. Best Regards, Bob Ballantyne M&BCC - Chairman
